Itanium® Solutions Alliance ("the Alliance") respects your privacy choices. We will limit the amount of information we ask of you to what is necessary and will treat it according to this policy.

The Alliance encourages you to read this privacy policy and those of all web sites you visit. Below is a statement of the Alliance’s online privacy policy.

WEB HOSTING: Our site is developed, hosted and maintained by a third party who has access to all information on this site. This "Powered by" partner is responsible for maintaining the privacy described in this statement. The third party retains no rights or privileges associated with the information (i.e. cannot distribute, sell, exchange the information collected)

REGISTRATION AND PERSONAL INFORMATION: In general, when you visit our website and access information you remain anonymous. Before we ask you for information, we will explain how this information will be used. Our site requires registration to access the community area when you want to submit a comment to the blog or expert Q & A and when requesting more information from a member of the Alliance via the Alliance area, although typically all that is requested is your name, title, an e-mail address, and phone number and some basic information about you such when is the best time to reach you. There are occasions where we will ask for additional information. We do this to be able to better understand your needs, and provide you with services that we believe may be valuable to you. Some examples of additional information our website collects are name, address and phone number. We give you the opportunity to elect not to receive information from us regarding upcoming events and other news.

Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. Some of the items we may capture in the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and the number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. SECURITY MEASURES: We will not collect personal information from you other than what you supply us on a voluntary basis. The Alliance stores no information about the visitors to its web site except for information regarding the manner in which the site is used. Information regarding the manner in which the web site is used will be used only to improve the web site and the content quality and will not display or make available personally identifiable information that is not publicly available.

We protect the personal information you share with us. Access to your personal information is limited to people who need it to do their job. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party without receiving your permission.

We also use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure once we receive it. The Alliance’s employees are trained and kept up-to-date on our security procedures. The Alliance is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and cannot be held liable for any use of private data that they may create.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personal information on a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our systems.

ACCESSING AND UPDATING INFORMATION: You can help the Alliance maintain the accuracy of your information by notifying the Alliance of any changes to your address, title, phone number or email address. Members may do this online or by e-mailing admin@itaniumsolutionsalliance.org.

To manage contact information and opt-in features, members may log into the secure members only area and select "My Account." Members may change and/or remove their contact information from the Alliance database at any time through the web tools and/or by submitting a request to admin@itaniumsolutionsalliance.org. Members may choose to unsubscribe from the Alliance member mailing list and/or not have their contact information displayed to the membership also.

At any time a user may opt-out of receiving event updates, press release announcements, and other information and updates from the Alliance by sending an email request to admin@itaniumsolutionsalliance.org. Email correspondence from the Alliance to the membership includes instructions for unsubscribing also.
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

USE OF COOKIES: The Alliance Web site may use cookies for various reasons. Cookies enable us to provide you with a better experience by allowing us to understand what areas of the Web site are of interest to our visitors. These cookies do not track individual information.
